One thing about Keke Palmer? She loves her mismatched manicures. The trend, beloved by everyone from Hailey Bieber to Rita Ora, has made an appearance on Palmer’s fingertips more than once. There was the time she paired star French tips with psychedelic prints, when she painted each nail with a different 3D pink swirl, and the time she made the mani trend festive with Christmas-themed designs. However, all those may be topped with her latest colorful take on the trend.
On March 19, Palmer posted two photos to Instagram of the look she wore to host the latest episode of her gameshow, Password. For an episode featuring Chance the Rapper, she had to bring her A-game when it came to her glam and outfit, which she did, down to her black, green, and white mismatched manicure.
Though every nail was a medium-length and almond in shape, each had a different—but coordinating—design accenting them. The most simple of all the nails was her thumb, a glossy black shade with what appears to be a green gem or 3D blob in the center.
Next to her glossy jet-black thumb, on her right hand, Keke’s pointer finger had a black and white design that was almost polka dots, just with uneven dark black blobs on top of a white base. On the same hand, her middle finger was perhaps the most colorful. Appearing textured and three-dimensional, this nail was coated in a bright green color with a slightly translucent finish and some wisps of lighter green mixed in.
Finishing off her right hand, Palmer painted her ring finger with the same black hue as her thumb. Then, in the center, a green 3D blob, the same as her middle finger, decorated the look. The last look on this hand? An abstract French tip with a slanted black line separating the yellow tip from the base.
On her left hand, Keke had the same designs, just on different fingers. On her left thumb, the design was the same black and green look as her opposite ring finger. Then, her pointer finger had the same jade green finish as her middle finger on the other hand.
To finish off the look, Palmer wore a pair of Zebra print, wide-framed Zenni Optical glasses and layered a light green Alex Perry catsuit underneath a cropped black leather jacket and coordinating pleated skirt. Then, she tied her hair up in a fluffy bun and stacked on a few blingy rings.
