Sabrina Carpenter’s Bubblegum Pink Manicure Is Ready for Spring

Step 1: Slam the door. Step 2: Hit ignore. Step 3: Take out your nail polish, because Sabrina Carpenter has a new manicure for you to emulate.

On April 1, the “Feather” singer shared the first shots from her new SKIMS campaign. “Hellooo it’s Sabrina your spring Skims girl,” she wrote via Instagram. In the extremely cute ads, Carpenter lounges around a set that’s designed to look like a teenage bedroom reading novels, changing the TV channel, and generally pining. While the clothes look fab (of course), it’s her glam that’s really selling me on the brand’s intimates collection; I don’t want the bra if I can’t also have the bouncy hair, bold lip, and perfectly primped nails.

Long and oval-shaped, the a-little-lighter-than-bubblegum-pink manicure is extra glossy and easy to recreate. If you’re going for the look on your natural nails at home, I’d suggest a couple coats of a shade like Essie’s Minimalistic ($10) or Zoya’s April color of the month, Candy ($12) followed by a glossy top coat.

At the salon, request extensions and enough coats of polish that it achieves that “white or pink depending on the light” effect. Keep a glossy finish, no chrome or matte effects here (although those are different SKIMS collections, I’m pretty sure).

The 24-year-old paired her nails and lingerie with a makeup look by her regular makeup artist, Carolina Gonzalez. To get her glossy lip, the artist used Armani Beauty’s Prisma Glass Lip Gloss ($38) in the raspberry-pink shade Berry Beam. Her major lashes, meanwhile, were the work of extensions by Velour Beauty. Scott King tackled her hair, throwing some little bows in her voluminous signature waves before switching to braids for a couple shots.

"Barbie emoji," commented the singer's rumored boyfriend Barry Keoghan on her post, adding fire and sweat emojis.

While I'd go so far as to say Polly Pocket, he has the right idea.
