Sydney Sweeney’s Sculptural Floral Manicure Turns Her Nails Into a Bouquet

By now, we know that Sydney Sweeney loves to put her own twist on classic manicures. Though her nails may look simple from afar, upon a closer look there is always a little extra something that makes it exciting. There was the time she added hidden dots to her French manicure, the time she made the case for classic supermodel nails, and her most recent nail look—a classic milky mani with floral accents.

On March 15, Sweeney walked the red carpet for the premiere of her new horror movie, Immaculate, which follows an American nun on a journey through the Italian countryside. Seeing as she starred in and produced the film, she had to show up dressed like the movie star she is. Which she did, arriving at the event as a literal bouquet of flowers—down to her coordinating nails.

Done by her go-to nail artist, Zola Ganzorigt, Sweeney’s manicure seemed like a natural extension of her outfit. A Balmain design, the ensemble started with plain, straight-leg black trousers. Then, at her waist, two statuesque, white marble-like hands wrapped around her body, joining together over her belly button and waistband to hold a bouquet of flowers. In the same white marble material, roses and daisies formed a 3D mosaic over her body in the shape of a top.

As you might have guessed, those same white flowers also continued onto her nails. Of course, on top of a trendy, minimalistic base.

A classic “your nails but better” meets milky mani, each of Sweeney’s nails matched with a hazy and nude hue. On top of a medium-length, almond-shaped nail bed, Ganzorigt painted on a milky white hue that was ultra-glossy and semi-sheer—still allowing us a peak at the natural nails underneath. Then, almost as if she plucked a few flowers from the faux bouquet, Ganzorigt placed two white 3D floral embellishments on a handful of nails. Sweeney’s right thumb got some accents, as did her right pointer finger. On the other hand (literally), Sweeney’s middle and ring finger did all the shining on her left hand.

To finish off the look, Sweeny kept her makeup simple and slicked back her new bob in wet styling. Sweeney’s hair stylist, Glen Oropeza, quaffed all her hair back with a mini side part. Then, left a strand dangling over her forehead for extra drama and glamour.
