If you’ve been craving even more fashion content after this year’s Met Gala, you’re in luck: The 2024 Cannes Film Festival has arrived. Those who follow the event know that it’s one of the most glamorous times for the film industry, with dramatic red carpet style moments, Côte d’Azur-appropriate vacation outfits, and nearby luxury cruise collection debuts all coinciding with the much-anticipated movie premieres. With a jury that includes Greta Gerwig and Lily Gladstone, Meryl Streep in town to accept an honorary Palme d’Or, and a film lineup promising the appearances of style stars like Aubrey Plaza, Nathalie Emmanuel, and Anya Taylor-Joy, this year’s festival is set to be one to remember both cinematically and sartorially. Read on for our favorite red carpet looks from Cannes 2024 so far.
Greta Gerwig
Greta Gerwig is this year’s Cannes jury president, so it’s no wonder that the acclaimed director behind Lady Bird, Little Women, and Barbie has arrived in her red carpet finest. For the festival’s opening ceremony (which coincides with a screening of Le Deuxième Acte), Gerwig arrived in a sequined burgundy Saint Laurent gown with a plunge neckline, pairing the look with equally sparkly Chopard jewelry.
Lily Gladstone
Actress Lily Gladstone—also on the jury after spending last year's Cannes promoting her acclaimed performance in Killers of the Flower Moon—opted for sequins as well, wearing a black Gucci gown with dark floral embroidery.

Anya Taylor-Joy
Anya Taylor-Joy has a big week ahead of her with the out-of-competition screening of Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, and the star arrived in Cannes in style. She paired a summery orange Atlein dress with strappy Jimmy Choo sandals and an oversized Jacquemus sun hat, and the result has us dreaming of a European summer.
Kylie Verzosa
As a former Miss International pageant winner, Filipina actress Kylie Verzosa knows glamour, and she didn't disappoint in this black mermaid gown with a dramatic skirt and corseted top.
Meryl Streep
We’re lucky to get a few Meryl Streep looks as she attends Cannes to accept her honorary Palme d’Or, and this Michael Kors suit from a pre-festival photocall is one of our favorites so far. The ensemble pairs a tailored white jacket and pants with a striped button-down, sunglasses, a sun hat, and on-trend silver heels.
Araya Hargate
If you’re looking for some coquette inspo from Cannes, we’ve found your answer in Thai actress and model Araya Hargate, who arrived at the opening ceremony in an elegant black-and-white Balmain ballgown, opera gloves, sparkly jewelry, and a sweet black hair bow to top off her updo.
Eva Green
Ever the cool French woman, actress Eva Green arrived at the jury photocall in an all-black Vivienne Westwood ensemble comprising an off-the-shoulder top, gathered midi skirt, pointed-toe heels, and sunglasses.
